Good thing you drove cause the blue/orange line is delay this morning. I'm going to be late for work UGH!
It wasn't bad heading from L'enfant to Farragut West at about 8am. I usually take the red line from Union Station to Dupont, but eff that noise this morning.
My girlfriend offered to drive me to work today but I turned her down. Didn't want her to have to get up plus she's recovering from a car accident. I went ahead and rode the red line from Twinbrook to Georgia Ave/Petworth. The ride was strange, trains were moving slower. The ride usually takes 40 mins and took over an hour today. I sat in the last car and noticed a train operator sitting in the very last seat, with a radio. I found this unusual. Finally got to Georgia Ave and there was a huge crowd of folks. Looked like they were running shuttle buses from this station also. I concidered walking the 10 or 11 blocks to work but finally a 79 came and I got here about 30 mins late.

I have to travel from NY/FLA Ave stop to College Park, with the trains stopping at R.I. I had to go into the town transfer at Gallery Place and take the long way up, both the red and green lines were fairly empty there were all of six people on the red line, it was kinda nice.
